Elopement photography
Weddings where the land falls away.
just the two of you
Elopements and couple sessions in the desert, the high country, and the long stretches between.

01 — Who we are
We're Louis and Mike — a photography duo based in Southern California, working primarily out of the desert and the high country. We've been photographing elopements together since 2019.
What we make is not wedding content. It's something quieter. The way light moves across granite at 4pm. The way your hand stays on his back when you think no one's watching. The kind of photographs you'll still want on your wall in twenty years.

02 — What we do
Three ways
we work.
However you found your way to the desert — for a day, for a morning, for a return — there's a way for us to come with you.

1
Elopements
Half-day and full-day coverage of small weddings — from the morning coffee to the last fire by the cabin. We come with two cameras, a lighting kit, and a packed lunch for everyone
Beginning at $4,800

2
Couple Sessions
A few hours together in a landscape that means something to you. Engagements, anniversaries, just-because portraits. Often the best gift you'll give your favorite person
Beginning at $950

3
Adventure Days
For couples already married who want to go back somewhere wild. A day in Joshua Tree on your fifth anniversary. A weekend in Yosemite that turns into a portrait series.
By Request
03 — What we do
Three ways
we work.

Joshua Tree — National Park
Yosemite — Valley & high country
The Mojave — open desert
Eastern Sierra — Bishop to Lone Pine
Big Sur — when the timing's right

04 — Our Approach
We don't pose much. We won't ask you to twirl. What we do is watch — closely, patiently — for the small moments that turn into the photographs you'll keep forever.

Most of our couples have never been professionally photographed before. Almost all of them tell us afterward they forgot we were there.
We send a planning guide a month before your date — recommendations on light, locations, what to wear and what to skip, and how to actually enjoy the day instead of watching the clock.
05 — A KIND WORD
We were so nervous about being photographed. Louis and Mike felt like friends from the first phone call. Looking at our photos now, I don't see two photographers doing a job — I see our wedding day, exactly as it felt."

Let's talk about your day.
We take a limited number of weddings each year — usually fourteen to eighteen — and we book about eight months out. The best way to start is to send us a note about your plans. We'll write back within two days.
